Protagonist and author of the Chronicles. A moon elf wizard from Halruaa.

Captain Heironymous Caine

Human fighter (battlemaster). Ex-pirate. Wields Hazirawn, a magical greatsword that tries to get him to do evil things. An Original Party member.

Buff DeBuff

Human paladin. Gladiator, sees all fights as a performance, doesn't seem to see the difference between fighting for show and fighting for real.

Ilyich

Human fighter/rogue. Ex-criminal, has trouble dealing with the newfound prosperity of being an adventurer

Lyrin

Crimson Company cleric. Don't know much about him yet.

Paazbul

Oto's familiar. An imp - a minor devil from the Nine Hells. Has been known to do things that get the party into trouble from time to time.

Thertranna

Half-orc bard. Plays the ukelele. Literally raised by wolves. An Original Party member. Left to study at the Bard's College in Calimshan.

Joan Gearhart

Genasi paladin. Spent the last four hundred years trapped in a bottle. Slain in a vampire's stronghold.

Captain Jimmy

Captain of a pirate ship, friend to Caine. Previously a heavy drinker, but quit after seeing most of his crew killed by a giant octopus.

Sharani

aka Breonna. Human warlock, recently implicated in a number of crimes in Halruaa. An Original Party member.

The Crimson Company

A company of warriors that jumps between dimensions, travelling to new worlds where they may be needed. Slain members of the Company are resurrected to continue fighting until their contract is fulfilled.
